Driver
Orientation

Once a family member is hired, we make sure they are certified with the Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card, drug screens and road test. We then take experienced drivers through self paced classroom training covering safety and operational expectations, as well as required on-boarding paperwork with our trainers Larry Wolfe & Ron Pugh.

We provide snacks, drinks, and lunches during the two class days. During orientation you will have the opportunity to talk with your Fleet Leader about company procedures and expectations as well. Lodging and travel accommodations are provided for those traveling in for orientation days (speak with our recruiter for specifics and other incentives).

FAQ

How much experience is required?
All our driving positions require at least 2 years verifiable CDL experience.

What is the rate of pay?
Our competitive pay scales vary by division and include, hourly, per mile and percentage pay options.
How much home time can I expect?
Dry van drivers get home weekly, container drivers are typically home twice per week, sometimes daily or every weekend if handling a long haul dray,

Specialized fleets including pneumatics, hopper bottoms and dump truck drivers are home daily.

What type of tractors are available?
We offer a variety of late model, less than 5 year old tractors to choose from, including automatics.
